Trinity Mirror To Sell Racing Post And Regional Titles

Trinity Mirror is selling off The Racing Post and 138 regional titles in the Midlands, London and the South East following its strategic review, in order to concentrate on its national and major regional titles.

According to reports in the trade press, the publisher said that it would make savings of £20 million after the sale of the titles.

In total 138 regional titles are being sold including, papers such as the Birmingham Post, Birmingham Mail and Coventry Telegraph.

As a result of the review, Trinity Mirror’s national titles are set to get new-look websites designed to play to the strengths of the internet, with a focus on news, sport and showbiz.
