August was a good month for commercial television broadcasters, with just one channel recording any decline in revenue.
A -2.8% decline meant that Channel 5 dropped just under £600,000 in revenue compared with August 2013, finishing the month on £20.36 million.
A 6.2% increase saw ITV net just under £92 million, while ITV Breakfast was up 4.2% to secure 4.2 million and Channel 4 up 3.4% to record a little over £36.3 million.
Overall, total terrestrial (inc. ITV Breakfast) was up 4.2% to net £152.4 million, while Total Satellite was up a massive 39.3% to secure £120.7 million.
