TV market round-up: October 2019

ITV continues to outperform its rivals, once again posting the only year on year (YoY) increase in revenues according to latest agency estimates.

During October commercial revenues for ITV were £135.1m, a rise of 7% on 2018’s total.

ITV breakfast by contrast suffered the biggest fall, with commercial revenue decreasing by 6.9% YoY to £6.1m.

Channel 4 saw only a marginal fall, with total revenue down 0.4% YoY to stand at £58.4m.

Elsewhere Total Satellite revenues dipped slightly, down by 0.7% YoY to £215.3m.
