TV market round-up: September 2017

Channel 4 suffered a -11.6% year-on-year drop in revenues in September, according to the latest agency estimates.

The broadcaster was down more than £6.8m on the previous year, and recorded total revenues of almost £52.3m.

Meanwhile, ITV was up just 0.2% to £128.5m, and ITV Breakfast also up 0.2% to more than £5.4m.

Total satellite was the best performer – up 7.7% to almost £219m.
