UK In Fourth Tier Of eMarketer’s World Broadband Comparisons
The UK has been placed in a fourth level tier of broadband penetration in an eMarketer comparison of worldwide nations’ development.
Tier I only contains one country – South Korea – where more than two-thirds of the population have high-speed, broadband internet access, according to eMarketer. The US falls into Tier III, as shown in the table below.
