US Magazine Ad Revenues Climb 8% In July

US magazine advertising revenues increased by 7.9% year on year in July, reaching $1.2 billion, according to the latest figures from the Publishers Information Bureau (PIB).

Whilst revenues rose, the number of advertising pages was more or less flat during the month, down 0.2% at 14,696.

In the year to date, ad revenues rose by 9.6% to $9.8 billion and page volumes rose by 1.6% to 123,878. Seven of the twelve major advertising categories experienced growth in ad revenues, whilst half of the categories recorded ad page growth.
