US magazine advertising revenues registered a 6.7% year on year rise during March, as the Financial, Insurance & Real Estate category showed a return to strong growth.
“We’re seeing a shift in trends from the last couple of years,” says Ellen Oppenheim, executive vice president of the Magazine Publishers of America. “For example, the Financial, Insurance & Real Estate category, which has been greatly impacted by the struggling economy, registered an uptick in March and first quarter overall.”
