Dentsu Aegis Network has hired Victoria Milligan as marketing & communications director for media brands, UK & Ireland.
In her new role, Milligan will co-ordinate the marketing and communications of Dentsu Aegis Network media brands, specifically Carat, Vizeum, iProspect, Fetch and Amplifi. She will report to Matthew Platts, CEO of Media Brands for DAN UK & Ireland.
Milligan has previously held roles at Mediavest, Walker Media and Blue 449. During the last five years she has worked on the front line of media, writing articles and presenting on TV and radio.
“I’m grateful to Dentsu Aegis for giving me this opportunity and recognising the transferable skills women like me bring to the workplace after a break,” said Milligan.
“I look forward to being back in the media industry, and bringing a fresh perspective along with my communications experience.
“Dentsu Aegis has expanded considerably in recent years and offers a breadth of specialist capabilities. Clients can access these through each of the media brands and I want to help communicate this to the marketplace.”
Milligan is the widow of Nick Milligan, the former managing director of Sky Media who died in a speedboat accident in 2013.

At Dentsu Aegis we want to bring the outside world in and with her diverse experience Victoria does this along with a deep understanding of effective communication across different platforms.
