Vivendi Expects Profit Growth To Slow

Vivendi’s chief financial officer has said that the company’s profit growth will slow next year as it integrates takeovers.

Speaking at a UBS conference in New York, Jacques Espinasse said that Vivendi’s profit growth will slow next year from 16% this year.

Espinasse said: “Don’t expect the growth in 2007 to be as fast as it was in 2006. Growth is going to slow in 2007 on the adjusted net income level, it will still be positive.”
