Voice Will Dominate Mobile Revenues Despite Data Services Investment
Although wireless operators and suppliers are investing heavily in wireless data services, by 2006 mobile voice services will still represent the major part (over 67%) of the $460 billion total mobile services revenues generated by 1.1 billion users in Europe, Asia-Pacific, and Latin America.
These and other findings were released under the Yankee Group‘s new Global Forecasts Service, which points out trends in demand for pivotal communications services in Europe, Latin America, and Asia-Pacific.
