Independent radio group Trans World Communications has revealed pre-tax profits of £1.29m for the 6-months to June 30, an increase of more than 400% from last year’s £0.25m.
The Independent is claiming an increase of 30,000 in sales in its first week at 30p (was 50p).Sources suggest that The Times’ sales dropped marginally – by 5,000 copies,about 1%.
