Yellow Pages is to sponsor LWT’s first division football coverage, The Sunday Match in a 30-week deal. Cockspur is to spend £80,000 on promotions at the Notting Hill Carnival at the end of the month; these will include sponsorship of Kiss FM’s carnival coverage.

The Radio Authority will announce the eight London ILR franchises on September 2. The announcement will confirm whether existing stations such as LBC, Jazz FM and Kiss FM will stay on air or be forced off by new contenders.Any disagreement will delay the final decision until later in the month.
