The regional radio licence for Filey and Scarborough has been awarded to Yorkshire Coast Radio, having defeated its one competitor, All Music Radio. YCR, run by Toby Horton formerly of Radio Tyne Tees, aims to get a proportion of its regional material from Yorkshire Television and the Scarborough Evening News.
