Star Radio, Rupert Murdoch’s Aisian satellite radio service will begin broadcasting on March 30.
The combined ITV/C4 revenue for February, based on agency estimates, came in at £149.96 million, an increase of 11.8% year on year. John Klue, director of the Outdoor Advertising Association, has resigned to concentrate on his media and marketing business consultancy, Eureka!. Richard Holliday, head of sponsorship at LWT replaces Klue.
IPC Magazines has announced a buyer for its My Guy, My Guy Monthly and now! titles, which it ceased publication of this month. Frank Hopkinson, the current group editor is to buy them. The head of Rupert Murdoch’s News International, Gus Fischer, resigned last night unexpectedly. No explanation was given as to reasons for leaving, in a formal statement issued by News International. Press reports today however, suggest that the move was caused by a growing incompatibility with Murdoch.

Richard Dunn resigned last night as chief executive of Thames Television. His departure was expected after the appointment of Greg Dyke as chairman of Pearson Television, Thames’ parent company.
