The Economist remains the UK’s best-selling news and current affairs title according to the latest ABC figures – holding steady with its circulation, despite a price rise in March.

According to the latest UK agency estimates, ITV saw its revenues fall -20.8% year-on-year (YoY) in June, bringing its total down to £92.4m from £117m last year.
The daily market had another tough month, with only two titles bucking the overall downward circulation trend. The Financial Times performed best, increasing by 3.8% in June.
Following a few months of seesawing figures, television revenues had a more stable month in May – recording only minimal changes year-on-year according to UK agency estimates.
The worst performing title was – perhaps surprisingly – the second most popular paper, the Sun. The red top was down -5%, dropping 68,000 copies on April.
Following a string of disappointing results in March, television revenues – as estimated by UK media agencies – performed much better in April.
March this year was a bleak month for TV revenues, with ITV, Channel 4 and ITV Breakfast all seeing their total revenues fall year-on-year, according to agency estimates.
After recording declining circulations across all titles in February, March was a fairly static month for newspapers. The dailies market grew a marginal 0.1% over the month.
Channel 4’s February revenues are up 4.4% year-on-year, according to the latest agency estimates.
