The ITV Network Centre has made 17 people redundant, including business development director Kate Hampton and research director Gareth Morgan. The job losses have been attributed to the individual ITV companies taking over marketing, in contrast to the centralised programming department.
The combined TV Revenue for December, based on agency estimates, came in at £143.48m, a decrease of 0.36% on the same month in 1992. This is the only month apart from July when overall revenue decreased from the 1992 figure.
