Cable Operator Telewest is rumoured to be buying a stake in youth cable channel Rapture.At present the channel’s only major backer is United News & Media and it is thought that Telewest’s offer of financial backing would lead to the channel being carried on one of its cable franchises.
United News & Media had a fairly bad week on the stock market last week. At the start of the week the company’s share price stood at 663.5p before falling to 646p on Friday.
