Sir David Puttnam, the film producer, has approached Lord Rothschild with plans for a worldwide satellite TV education channel, it is reported in the Sunday Telegraph. Apparently Puttnam has approached the BBC and the Open University, but both shelved the idea because it seemed too ambitious.
RevenueNovember was a poor month for ITV in terms of revenue, with ITV’s actual figure down on last year by 1.4% to £147.37m.
