The Telegraph newspaper group which publishes The Daily and the Sunday Telegraph has announced interim pre-tax profits. Pre-tax profits for the six months to the end of June rose 60% to £34.6m against £21.6m previously. Turnover improved from £119.9m to £128.1m.
