According to Nielsen’s Global AdView Pulse, global advertising spend was up 2.4% to $139 billion in the second quarter of 2012.
The Mideast and Africa saw the biggest increase – up 19.6% compared to the second quarter of 2011 – while Latin America saw its ad spend rise 4.9%.
Europe fell 3.8%, while Asia-Pacific and North America enjoyed growth – up 2.9% and 2.4% respectively.
June saw the most growth of the quarter, up 3.1%.
