MediaTel’s Youth Media Technology event, in association with Channel 4, returns for a third year on April 4th.
Channel 4 will preview the latest Tribes research at the event and we will hear from programme makers, researchers and entrepreneurs in the youth market.
But at the centre of the event is a panel of teenagers who will answer questions on media and purchasing habits – shedding light on their device usage (and aspirations); telling us which is the first screen in their eyes; where does their news come from; if Twitter usage is taking over any Facebook time; and hopefully explaining why so many teens now religiously upload pictures of food they are about to eat.
If you want to spot future trends, or have any clients in the youth and entertainment markets; or are likely to have teenage children soon/one day…then book your ticket now and meet Jamie, Conor, Anna, Beth and Tom.
We ran this event for the second time last year and our panel of teenagers managed to amuse, inform and surprise in equal measure.
You may think you know this market, but be prepared for some brilliant insights into teenage views of media and media values. This is certainly not just about Facebook and YouTube – there’s plenty in here for traditional media too.
