The deadline for the second annual Connected Consumer Awards in March 2014 is set to close this Friday, 24 January.
The awards, which have come to be known as the ‘Connies’, are held in celebration of those pioneering new advertising and commercial opportunities in the connected industry.
Chaired by Graham Lovelace, the nominees will be placed in the safe hands of a number of hand-picked media experts – with judges including Richard Marks, Dominic Mills, Stacey Anklam, Mark Cross and Simon Gauntlett.
This year’s categories include Most Creative Campaign, Most Effective Campaign, Most Connected Agency, Best Technology, Best Innovation and Best Research Project.
At the inaugural 2013 event, Virgin Media picked up the award for Best Campaign as well as being named Grand Prix winner for its work with HTC One on TiVo. Ross Robertson, group controller of Virgin Media, said it was “great to get recognition” for one of the first big campaigns on TiVo.
The event will follow MediaTel’s unmissable annual two-day Connected Consumer Conference at Nomura.
