BBC Supplies Listings Material

BBC Enterprises has set up an agreement with the ITVA to supply TV listings information to magazines, newspapers and agencies from the New Year.

The decision has come as a surprise to competitive tenders, including IPC who submitted a bid for the position but was not regarded as a fair competitor as it produces lisings magazines TV Times and What’s on TV.

The gathering of information will be facilitated by BBC Broadcasting Data- Services, an existing unit set up within the BBC Enterprises research department.
