CST Wins First National Cable Channel

Original programming for The Cable Network, the UK’s first nationwide cable exclusive channel, has been awarded to CST Productions (Bristol). Launching on May 1st the channel, formerly known as UK Today, will show both original and acquired programmes between 1300 – 2300 seven days a week. The channel is backed by UK cable operators Comcast, US West, Nynex, TCI and Southwestern Bell.
