In a bid to improve disappointing ratings performance GMTV is to switch a number of presenters. Eamonn Holmes will move alongside Fiona Armstrong from next week, replacing Mike Wilson. If ratings improve as a result it would appear that Wilson will be moved to host a one hour 0600-0700 slot prior to the main event at 0700.
The channel created by the merger of Screensport and Eurosport, Eurosport/The European Sports Network, will begin transmission on 1st March ’93, and will be delivered on Astra 1A Transposer 4. Shares in the new company are held equally by ETN, Canal + and ESPN.
