Junior Rugby Gets Sponsor

Pilkington has agreed to extend its support from the senior Rugby Union Cup Final at Twickenham on May 7th to the junior clubs’ knock-out, the Pilkington Shield final, which will be before the main event.

Pilkington’s support for the Cup, which had one year to run, has now been extended to 1996 at a cost of £700,000 with a further £300,000 to cover the shield.
