First Radio Sales has launched a range of advertising packages based on key UK planning regions across is current portfolio of stations.
The regional packages have been created in response to agency demand and will allow advertisers to buy airtime by television region on all stations represented by First Radio.
Commenting on the initiative, Neil Webster, managing director of First Radio Sales, said: “If you want to buy airtime in the Yorkshire/Tyne Tees area, with one buy you can reach a potential of over 900,000 adults on our 14 stations in the area.”
He added: “This is more than any of the Real Radio Yorkshire, Century, or Galaxy 105-106 and makes us the second largest group in the region. Initial feedback from agencies has been very encouraging.”
First Radio regions now appear on all radio planning systems and buyers will receive one invoice and one post campaign analysis. First Radio will also offer agencies a rebate on their copy distribution costs for booked campaigns in an attempt to encourage uptake.
Earlier this year Fusion Radio sales transferred all of its operations to First Radio Sales, which was formerly Clear Channel Radio Sales.
The merger took First Radio’s portfolio to over 80 local commercial radio stations and saw Fusion’s staff move into First’s new offices on Regent Street in London (see Fusion Radio Sales To Merge Into First Radio Sales).
First Radio Sales is a wholly owned subsidiary of Radio Investments and provides national advertising, sponsorship and promotional representation to a range of UK radio stations including those owned by CN Group and UKRD.
