Meet the 2025 Media Minds: Goodstuff Communications

As the quarter-final stage of the 2025 Media Mind tournament approaches, The Media Leader is shining a spotlight on some of the brightest quiz contenders.

These are industry experts whose sharp knowledge has propelled their agencies to the knockout rounds.

In part two of this series, meet Felicity Bramald, business director at Goodstuff Communications. Bramald has played a key role in her team’s success so far. But what drives her?

Goodstuff will battle it out against Starcom on 8 October.

Felicity Bramald, business director, Goodstuff

How did you get into the advertising industry?

By mistake! I sent off applications for everything after university, thought I was chasing a creative role and stumbled into media instead.

What is your favourite medium and why?

Tricky! I do love TV — I’ve seen it transform and grow clients’ businesses over and over again.

Favourite media brand?

I love them all equally.

What’s is your favourite ad campaign?

Just Eats’ “#Didsomebodysay”. Can you imagine being in the room pitching that or being brave enough to sign that off? Love it. Also I just a love a good jingle; it lives in my mind rent free.

Biggest change in the media industry over the next five years?

I assume everyone else is saying AI too? It’s coming and will affect how we do things. It’s great, it’s powerful, it’s slightly terrifying.

You want to impress a new client — which restaurant do you take them to?

Da Paolo, a firm favourite for the entire 15 years of my career.

What is your favourite fashion brand and why?

Honestly, 90% of my wardrobe is from charity shops. I love a bargain and the hunt for one-off pieces. I even host London charity shop tours on Airbnb sometimes!

What is your favourite film and why?

Dirty Dancing, because who doesn’t want their own iconic lift? I’ve got the man who can do the lift; I just don’t have the upper-body strength to play Baby.

What are you listening to, watching or reading at the moment?

Taylor Swift, forever and always. Top 0.05% of streamers worldwide.

Favourite local café or bar?

Not a bar or café, but my local chippy. Legendary food, cash only and, if you forget, they’ll just say “Bring it next week”.

Finally, what has been your personal highlight of Media Mind to date?

Just making it this far! We were so humble (read: doubtful) about our chances that when they announced we’d won the first round, we were jumping for joy like England had just won the World Cup.
