Ozone partners with Microsoft Media Marketplace

Ozone partners with Microsoft Media Marketplace

Ozone has become the first global audience provider to integrate across Microsoft Media Marketplace.

The partnership creates more opportunities for buyers to reach Ozone’s audiences and will see category-based deals, such as sport or travel, available to activate through a choice of 30+ DSP partners.

Across the US and UK alone, Ozone claims to bring together 50+ publisher groups and 550+ premium domains, and to connect advertisers to an audience of 220m in trusted, high-attention online environments.

Through the integration, Ozone aims to make these connections more accessible by meeting cross-channel buyers where they already buy and streamlining the process.

This partnership signals the continued expansion of access to these audiences through new channels and follows the launch of its Audience Connection Platform in the US last October.

The Audience Connection Platform pools publisher audiences to provide advertisers with scale while leveraging audience data to deliver targeting solutions.

It aligns with the publisher-backed tech platforms’ aims to compete with social media platforms for audience scale and ad investment amid a global expansion.

Craig Tuck, Ozone’s global chief revenue officer, said: “At Ozone, our mission has always been to provide a credible, premium alternative to the major digital platforms, and making it easy for brands to activate trusted audiences at scale has been key to our success.

“Whether through our Managed Service, Premium Deals, or Connect offerings, we’ve focused on working with our customers in the way that works best for them – and making Ozone’s audience deals available in Microsoft Media Marketplace creates even more flexibility for clients.

“Surfacing these deals through Microsoft opens the door for even more brands to experience what we call the Connection Advantage – delivering the outcomes they need – while ensuring we continue to drive incremental value for our audience-first publisher partners.”

In an interview with The Media Leader, CEO Damon Reeve underlined the company’s ambitions for global expansion and its aim to target markets including Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Australia, Canada and Asia-Pacific.

Additionally, throughout 2025, the platform had been on a hiring push, having stated plans to hire an additional 20 team members between early October 2025 and the end of the year. Such efforts were also focused in the US, where Reeve told The Media Leader he was looking to build out an additional team in Chicago to serve the Midwest market.
