GCap Launches Radio Led Multi-Media Agency

GCap Logo GCap Media is to launch a radio led multi-media creative agency, which aims to offer bespoke integrated solutions to work off air, online and across developing technologies.

The agency, called CANVAS, is a merger between the existing design, sonics and AV departments at GCap Media. These departments have been individually successful but were merged to meet the changing demands of advertisers and the media landscape, as advertisers demand a higher level of engagement and interaction with audiences across new media platforms.

“To be in an ideas session with so many creative people approaching the brief from such different angles and disciplines is amazing,” said David Couch, GCap’s group creative director.

“A few years ago we were pushing the envelope with clients while explaining the psychology of sound. Now we’re presenting fantastic audio supported by idea driven animation to download to mobile phones. What an incredibly exciting time to be an advertiser.”

The CANVAS team will be made up of radio creative writers and audio producers, as well as art directors, designers, web developers and filmmakers.
