BBC One’s new drama, Sorted, which follows the highs and lows of a group of postie pals, continued to do well in its second week, gaining an average of 3.9 million adult viewers for the station (a 20.9% audience share), beating Channel 4’s Big Brother.
BB managed to lure an average of 3.6 million viewers in the 9pm slot, which was a 19% share of the television viewing audience. Five’s CSI: Miami pulled in an average of 2.8 million adult viewers (14.7%), whilst ITV1’s Bad Lads Army: Extreme was watched by an average of 2.5 million adult viewers, a 13.5% share.
Following Bad Lads Army: Extreme was Love Island, which once again failed to impress viewers (see Love Island Struggles To Seduce) with an average of just 1.9 million adult viewers tuning in (a 10.4% audience share). All other network channels managed to gain more viewers in the 10pm timeslot, with BBC One’s News programme attracting the biggest share at 22.9%, seen by an average of 4.1 million adults.
Five’s 10pm CSI: NY drew 2.3 million adults, a 14% audience share, whilst BBC Two’s Grumpy Old Holidays saw a 12.65% audience share (2.3 million adults) and Channel 4’s Lost took a 12.68% share (2.1 million adults).
