IPC Media Gets New Corporate Identity

IPC Media Gets New Corporate Identity

IPC Logo IPC Media has launched a new corporate identity, intended to reflect the company’s evolution and bring a visual unity to its branding across all parts of its business.

Sylvia Auton, IPC Media chief executive, says: “IPC has changed out of all recognition over the last five years. It is therefore fitting that our market-leading reputation for insight, innovation and creativity is reflected in a new corporate logo that better represents our modernity and confidence in our future.”

Auton also announced a major digital launch in May, to be followed by another major online launch in June.

The launch of IPC’s new identity is timed to coincide with the company’s move to its new home, the Blue Fin Building.

Designed by Agenda Design Associates, the graphic element of the logo employs an unusual combination of typefaces: a serif “I”, a sans serif “P” and a graphic “C”.

The new logo also includes a subtle reference to the new building with a central ‘blue fin’ between the ‘IPC’ graphic descriptor and the ‘Media’ font.

There are also new logos for IPC’s publishing divisions, giving for the first time a visual unity to every part of the company’s branding.

In addition, IPC Country and Leisure Media is renamed IPC Inspire. Paul Williams, managing director of IPC Inspire, said: “We had an excellent year in 2006, being at the centre of our specialist markets.

“With the focus in 2007 on both our magazines and our digital growth, together with the impending move to our fantastic new offices, now is a great time to become IPC Inspire – it really reflects the passion both we and our readers have for our specialist markets and the inspiration our brands deliver.”
