ITV Announces Senior Commercial Appointments

ITV ITV has confirmed a number of senior appointments to its newly-reshaped commercial sales team, led by commercial sales director Gary Digby.

Reporting directly to Digby, Mark Trinder and Jeremy Lawrence have been appointed as group account directors for ITV Commercial, responsible for managing senior relations with agencies and clients.

Trinder and Lawrence will also be in charge of defining the long-term commercial strategy to deliver share and revenue targets for each agency within their portfolio.

Trinder joined ITV in 2004 as a senior client development director, responsible for developing long-term relationships with ITV’s advertising clients.

Prior to ITV, Trinder spent almost 20 years working in marketing roles at Woolworths, Adidas, Sainsbury’s and Safeway.

Lawrence has worked across a number of ITV’s sales houses as trading account director, including LWT, Granada Enterprises and ITV Sales since he joined the company in 1988.

The commercial broadcaster has also made two other key appointments, promoting Simon Orpin to the roles of creative solutions director and Ben Allen as deputy trading director.

Digby said: “We have evolved the structure of our sales team, creating dedicated customer account teams to ensure we continue to meet the needs of our agencies and clients.”

He added: “With these senior appointments, we now have the right people in place to ensure we deliver streamlined contact with our customers, and it puts ITV Commercial in a much stronger position to offer truly integrated advertising and creative solutions across all of our platforms.”
