Dennis Publishing has announced its digital magazine ABCe results, with new launches iGIZMO and iMOTOR both hitting over 100,000 readers per issue.
Monkey, iGIZMO and iMOTOR all proved popular, with the three digital magazines attracting more than 1.4 million readers a month.
iGIZMO, Dennis’ consumer technology fortnightly, attracted 101,785 average readers per issue, with an average reading time reaching 35 minutes per issue.
The results also found that the newest addition to the publisher’s motoring portfolio, iMOTOR, reported an impressive fornightly circulation of 108,622 average readers per issue.
Dennis said the advertising response to iMOTOR, which launched five months ago, has been successful with a number of new brands including Mercedes and Volvo.
Meanwhile, Monkey revealed its best ABCe result since its launch in 2006 – an average of 283,541 readers per issue marked its fourth successive rise.
The digital men’s magazine, which will celebrate its 100th issue this month, recently launched its own interactive website (see Monkey To Get interactive Website).
Bruce Sandell, head of NPD at Dennis, said: “We now have over 1.4 million readers opening, engaging with and enjoying our digital magazines. Our readers are also spending over half an hour immersed in each issue which makes the environment a very different proposition to websites.”
“These audits prove that the digital magazine sector is a viable, growing and successful business model,” he added.
