City AM sees month on month circulation dip

Newspapers December saw business title City AM‘s distribution decline by a significant 14.5% month on month, to around 87,000 copies, due to the Christmas period.

However, the Evening Standard also experienced a relatively large month on month dip of 5.2%, taking its circulation to just over 287,000 copies last month.

Meanwhile, London’s morning freesheet only slipped by 0.8% month on month – the Metro‘s distribution now stands at more than 743,000, well ahead of the other titles in the London sector.

Distribution figures for the afternoon freesheets the London Lite and thelondonpaper also saw a downturn – the London Lite was down by 2.6% month on month to around 390,000 copies, while thelondonpaper dipped 1.1% month on month to more than 495,000 copies.
