New look for Pick Me Up

Pick Me Up IPC Connect’s women’s weekly Pick Me Up has got a new look, backed by a three month sponsorship of Virgin Media TV’s Living 1 and Living 2 chat programmes.

Creative agency Quiet Storm has been appointed to support the new look which includes a new layout and features.

Oswin Grady, Pick Me Up publishing director, said: “Consumer insight is core to Connect’s publishing strategy. This, coupled with fantastic creative talent, has enabled us to deliver a stronger, more powerful Pick Me Up.”

The latest ABC figures show that Pick Me Up suffered a 12.2% year on year drop in circulation for July to December 2008, leaving its total at around 374,000 copies.

H Bauer’s Take a Break has the largest circulation in the women’s weekly market, with a total of more than 943,000 copies (see ABC Results Jul-Dec 2008:Take a Break takes women’s weeklies top spot again).
