Scottish and Newcastle worked with Incentivated to encourage users of community mobile internet sites to tell their friends about Strongbow, adding a viral element to the Bowtime campaign.

Client: Scottish & Newcastle’s Strongbow

Target Audience: Strongbox drinkers

Medium: Mobile banner advertising campaign on flirting WAPsite Flirtomatic allowed customers to sent their friends a virtual pint of Strongbow cider. A message was sent to the recipient including a link directly to the bowtime.mobi WAPsite, where they could access the 2D barcode and search for their nearest participating venue to redeem the voucher.

Conclusion: This was the first time a consumer brand teamed up with a UK mobile social network to allow users to gift its product and 300,000 impressions were sever with 30,000 branded virtual pints gifted to other users.
