Two more directors have stepped down from the ITV board following Archie Norman’s appointment as chairman of the broadcaster before Christmas.
Non-executive directors Heather Killen and Agnes Touraine, who joined the board in 2007, have announced plans to stand down from their roles, according to reports.
James Crosby, a senior non-executive independent director and Sir George Russell, deputy chairman of ITV will also leave the broadcaster.
Norman, a former Conservative MP, is keen to reduce the commercial broadcaster’s 12-strong board.
At the end of December, ITV appointed the former Procter & Gamble and HM Revenue & Customs chief Mike Clasper to replace Crosby as a non-executive senior independent director.
