goodtoknow Recipes

IPC has launched a new monthly women’s magazine – goodtoknow Recipes.

The publisher, which is also responsible for Now, Chat, Woman’s Own and Pick Me Up, has unveiled goodtoknow Recipes as a brand extension from the www.goodtoknow.co.uk site.

The new title, which is available to buy today priced at £2.20, also follows the site’s new ‘Recipes Channel’.  The site launched the channel as part of a major new content push last month.

The food monthly is set to target “busy mums aged between 25 and 44, providing them with cooking inspiration, plus tips and advice to feed their families cheaply, quickly and healthily”, IPC Connect said.

Oswin Grady, goodtoknow publishing director, added: “There is a major gap in the magazine market for a practical food magazine for mass-market mums. Our experience with goodtoknow online has given us a very clear picture of what they are looking for in a magazine and goodtoknow Recipes is the perfect complement to our hugely successful site for busy mums.”

IPC Connect’s managing director, Fiona Dent, said: “Our in depth consumer insight has shown there are almost seven million mass-market mums across the UK who are cooking more regularly than they did. They are looking for easy recipes and to find new ideas on what to cook. For the first time they have a dedicated magazine in goodtoknow Recipes to cater for their needs, running hand in hand with the rich and interactive goodtoknow offering online.”

www.goodtoknow.co.uk generates more than 6.1 million page impressions across its 933,000 monthly unique users, according to IPC.
