Connected TVs need technological standards in place, says DTG

Speaking at Westminster eForum seminar last week, Simon Gauntlett, Technology Director at the Digital TV Group (DTG) said that common technological standards need to be put in place for connected televisions.

Ensuring common standards will provide the consumer with a better user experience and allow the industry to “interoperate”, Gauntlett told delegates.
