MediaTel/YouGov: Connected TV Tracker

MediaTel has worked with YouGov to bring a unique consumer insight survey exclusively to the Connected Consumer product.

The quarterly survey featured questions around catch-up, VOD and connected television ownership and usage.

Fieldwork and sample information as follows:

  • Q2 2011: Fieldwork 26-34 May 2011. Total sample size 2,158 UK adults aged 18+
  • Q3 2011: Fieldwork 8-10 August 2011. Total sample size 2,051 UK adults aged 18+
  • Q4 2011: Fieldwork 9-14 November 2011. Total sample size 2,067 UK adults aged 18+
  • Q1 2012: Fieldwork 7-10 February 2012. Total sample size 2,080 UK adults aged 18+
  • Q2 2012: Fieldwork 14-15 May 2012. Total sample size 2,008 UK adults aged 18+
  • Q3 2012: Fieldwork 7-9 September 2012. Total sample size 2,394 UK adults aged 18+

The data is weighted to be nationally representative in terms of gender, age and region.

The survey ran for six quarters, with the final fieldwork in Q3 2012. This research has been replaced in the Connected Consumer product with YouGov’s global research study Connected TV Tracker.
