The Guardian‘s Three Little Pigs ad – its first major brand campaign for more than 20 years – has won the January/February Thinkboxes.
The aim of the ad was to demonstrate The Guardian‘s approach to journalism and encourage consumers to recognise it as far more than just a newspaper. It proved to be a popular choice among the youth panel at today’s Youth, Media & Technology event too. The five teenagers had all seen the ad and enjoyed watching it, as well as talking to their friends about it.
The Guardian campaign was voted winner of the January/February 2012 Thinkboxes by Thinkbox’s Creative Academy of ad industry experts. Second came T-Mobile’s ‘What Britain loves’ spot; Durex’s ‘In sync’ took third place.
