ABC Results Jan-Jun 2008:In-Store Mags Take Top Two Spots In Home Interest Sector
In-store magazine Homebase Ideas has the highest circulation in the home interest sector, at just under 427,000 copies, following a year on year rise of around 2%.
At number two in the sector, fellow in-store magazine Ikea Family Live has a circulation of 350,000 copies.
Country Living‘s circulation now stands at just under 200,000 copies following a year on year rise of around 3.5%.
IPC Media titles Country Homes & Interiors and Homes & Gardens both reported year on year circulation increases, of around 5.5% and 3.5% respectively.
Country Homes & Interiors now has a circulation of 87,000, while Homes & Gardens has a circulation of almost 144,000.
The publisher’s Living etc was also up year on year, by 8.5%, giving it a circulation of more than 98,000 copies.
However, IPC Southbank’s Ideal Home suffered a year on year downturn of around 5.5%, leaving it with a total of 221,000 copies.
There was a relatively large decline in circulation for Ikea Family Live, losing almost 28.5% of its total year on year. It now has a circulation of 350,000 copies.
BBC Homes & Antiques now reports an ABC figure of around 85,000 following a fall of 15.5% year on year, while stablemate BBC Good Homes was down around 11% year on year to nearly 117,500.
Natmags’ House Beautiful fell by around 4% year on year, or 7,500 copies, leaving its total at just over 173,000 copies.
WI Life, meanwhile, published by the National Federation of Women’s Institutes, has a circulation of more than 202,000 copies, following a period on period rise of 0.3%.
