Portsmouth and Sunderland have moved the sales of their Croydon Advertiser Group and Northeast Press Division from Mediaforce to AMRA. The appointments follow months of discussions with management in each group.
The Croydon Advertiser Group includes the Croydon Advertiser Series, the free weeklies, the Croydon Post and the Reigate and Banstead Independent. Titles in the Northeast Press Division include the three daily newspapers; Hartlepool Mail, Sunderland Echo and Shields Gazette.
AMRA, which has recently appointed Roy Jeans as managing director, lost Adscene’s sales in May to Mediaforce.
