The Media Business has promoted three of its former associate directors to full directors. Mark Collins, Nick Lawson and David Porter have been promoted in recognition of their contributions to the growth of the agency, according to group managing director, Stephen Allan. The group’s most recent win was the £15m Video Collection International.
…Giles Howard will join Classic FM as Sales Director from a position as Sales Controller at Capital Radio. Howard will begin the post at the end of the month. The presently unnamed GWR National Sales division will be split into four areas: Classic FM sales, under Giles Howard; GWR Local Brand sales; Business Development and Systems and Inventory.
…ITV has appointed David Bergg to take charge of planning and strategy at the Network Centre. He was previously controller of planning and acquisition at Channel 5. Bergg will join in the Autumn.
