Videology’s Catherine Hallam reports back from Mobile World Congress – and notes mobile advertising is finally taking centre stage.

In her role at Videology, Catherine is responsible for developing data products internationally, with a focus on bringing effective targeting and measurement capabilities for digital advertising, be it online or mobile, VOD or display, or any part of the customer purchase funnel.
Catherine also provides expertise and thought leadership to Videology’s trading desk clients and the industry as a whole on the best use of data for digital advertising, including education for data providers on the monetisation of their data online, particularly in markets with limited data availability.
Previous to Videology, Catherine spent nine years as a data expert at Experian (including ClarityBlue). Catherine’s initial focus was on the value of data targeting for offline direct marketing campaigns for large database clients and strategically planning their campaigns for the most effective return on their investment. She was also instrumental in bringing Experian data into digital advertising, which involved educating the online display market about the value of audience and both brand metrics and offline measurement for campaign success attribution.
