BBC Christmas Doubts
It is reported today that Buckingham Palace is considering switching the filming of the Queen’s Christmas speech away from the BBC, following the announcement of the BBC Panorama interview with the Princess of Wales.
Any final decision on whether to move the broadcast would be taken by the Queen, but the fact the Palace is considering such a move is seen as a severe sign of the breakdown in relations between the Palace and the BBC.
The Panorama interview will go out on Monday night, opposite ITV’s launch of the Beatle season and the first episode in the final Cracker story.
