C&A And MTV Join Forces
C&A and MTV have entered a long term agreement for a new programming and marketing partnership. The joint venture, entitled “Turned On Europe,” will look at how young Europeans live their lives by allowing individuals to film themselves with camcorders. The resulting films will be distributed through C&A stores throughout the UK and will be aired on MTV in early 1997.
Peter Einstein, president and business director at MTV Networks Europe, said: “This is one of the most significant programming and marketing deals MTV Europe has signed and we are delighted to have the opportunity to forge such an innovative association.”
