Cinema Admissions Fall Below 2M In November
The latest cinema admissions figures, for November, show that average weekly admissions fell to below 2 million, a decrease of 5.2% on last year, to 1.98 million. October’s average admissions were 2.69 million.
The total number of admissions was 8.498 million. Although this figure must be helped by the release of Goldeneye at the end of the month, most big Christmas films were not released until December. Other films which were out in November, however, included Crimson Tide with Denzel Washington, French Kiss with Meg Ryan and A Walk in the Clouds with Keanu Reeves.
