Classic FM Signs Saab Sponsorship Package
National commercial radio station, Classic FM, has signed its largest sponsorship and promotional package to date with car manufacturer Saab. The deal, which is valued at more than £750,000, gives Saab a ten month sponsorship run on Classic’s Smooth Classics At 7 programme, which currently has a weekly reach of around two million listeners.
The will be further promotional activity in Classic FM’s monthly magazine, between April and December, and on the station’s website, at www.classicfm.com, which will feature Saab dealership details and links to the company’s own website. Classic FM will commission full mid- and post-campaign analysis.
The deal was put together by Angus Ogilvy-Stuart at Universal McCann and Dominic Barker, head of sponsorship at Classic FM.
